Notable Trends:
- High number of auto thefts on the Westside, mostly older Hondas. Locations with large parking areas such as apartment complexes and shopping centers are being targeted. Another was reported yesterday. Older Hondas are vulnerable to modified keys and valuable for their parts. These cases are being investigated so we can determine who is responsible. If you own a car like this, consider secondary security measures, such as the Club or a disabling device.
- Another seven residential burglaries, but with no obvious pattern.
